ISO 9001 ISO9001: Prove your ability to provide products and services consistently

ISO 9001 is an internationally recognised standard that demonstrates a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, as well as continuous improvement.

The standard looks for a systematic control of activities to ensure that your customer’s needs and expectations are met and is based the following management principles:

  • customer focus
  • leadership
  • engagement of people
  • process approach
  • improvement
  • evidence-based decision making
  • relationship management

Working with ISO9001 will help to ensure that you are consistently providing products and services that meet the needs of your customers, people and stakeholders.

It is also a widely recognised standard and if you go on to achieve certification, is often helpful to include when tendering.

Other benefits of quality management systems such as ISO9001 include:

  • Improved productivity and efficiency
  • Improved internal working, leading to less errors and re-work
  • Increased staff motivation from having clearly defined roles and responsibilities
  • Increased opportunity to highlight and address any service development issues

Whether you are working with the ‘2008’ or ‘2015’ version of the standard, we can offer advice, support and guidance to help you explore ISO 9001 - giving you confidence that your investment is linked to your business performance and ambition.

We can deliver both pre and post assessment support so you can make the most of the activity and the feedback you receive.

From gap analysis to packages of implementation support, we can also help you to explore your organisational culture and behaviours to make sure your systems and why you are introducing them are understood and valued by all.

If certification is also a goal, we can also help by referring you to a UKAS accredited certification body.
