Investors in People Voted a Business Superbrand 2016

Investors in People has been awarded Business Superbrands status for 2016, following the latest annual survey results.

Managed by The Centre for Brand Analysis (TCBA), the list is based on the feedback of 2500 individual business professionals across the UK as well as the independent and voluntary Business Superbrands Council.

Judging nearly 1500 brands for this year alone, they assessed on three key criteria: quality, reliability and distinction.

Investors in People (IIP) is the Standard for people management that defines what it takes to lead, support and manage people well for sustainable results. IIP works with thousands of top businesses across the country, from Allianz Insurance and McDonald’s restaurants to Brompton Bikes.

Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People commented:

“We are extremely proud of achieving the Superbrands status for 2016. The past year has seen the launch the sixth generation Investors in People Standard, reflecting the very latest workforce trends.

"In 2016 our product is stronger than ever and has a truly unique offer to the market. Our Superbrands status reinforces our brand reputation and the high quality service we offer.”

Stephen Cheliotis, Chief Executive of TCBA and Chairman of the Business Superbrands Council said:

“A potent reputation is a critical advantage for a company. As an annual barometer of brand strength, those companies performing well in this year’s Business Superbrands survey can take confidence in their reputation.

"The fact that the Business Superbrands process canvasses both business-to-business marketing experts and business professionals reaffirms on all counts that the brand is performing well”.

Other Superbrands listed include British Airways, Apple and Google. The full Superbrands list will be published in a Guardian supplement on Saturday 5th March.
