Flying High! Liverpool John Lennon Airport Achieves Investors in People
Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) has been awarded accreditation against the Investors in People Standard, demonstrating its commitment to high performance through good people management.
LJLA directly employs around 250 staff across a number of disciplines including, operations, fire and rescue service, engineering, air traffic control and administration. Three years ago the Airport Company introduced its People Strategy as a key part of its strategic vision, looking to become an employer of choice for existing and future employees. Achieving the Investors in People accreditation has been an important part of this process.
Investors in People is the international standard for people management, defining what it takes to lead, support and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results. Underpinning the standard is the Investors in People framework, reflecting the latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures required to outperform in any industry. Investors in People enables organisations to benchmark against the best in the business on an international scale.
