First Transpennine Express Achieve Investors in People Gold

First TransPennine Express (FTPE) has been awarded the Investors in People Gold standard, an accolade only given to the top 7% of IIP accredited organisations across the UK.

The award recognises the company’s exceptional achievements in helping its workforce to develop and further their professional skills.

Investors in People recognised how FTPE has inspired and empowered its employees, in addition to showcasing excellence in a number of areas including business strategies, leadership and management and its continuous improvement. FTPE has also demonstrated its accomplishment of an additional 16 IIP framework requirements since last year when it was awarded Silver standard.

During a rigorous assessment, FTPE was judged on their coaching and mentoring, diversity, health and wellbeing, employee engagement and return on investment. This outlined their significant progress and developing strategies, providing future challenges and targets.

Managing Director, Nick Donnovan commented:
