Exploring Wellbeing and Resilience in the Workplace at the Public Sector Show Manchester

Exploring Wellbeing and Resilience in the Workplace at the Public Sector Show Manchester

IDG will join delegates from across the North and beyond this November to explore the future of the public sector during a period of significant transformation.

The largest regional event of its kind in the UK, the Public Sector Show Manchester brings together senior professionals from across local and central government to hear key policy updates and to learn from best practice case studies and seminars.

Taking place on 21st November at Manchester Central, IDG will be delivering an exclusive seminar for the conference and will be joined on stage by Jon Rouse, Chief Officer for the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership.

Alex Elmywood, Commercial Director at IDG tells us more:

“We are really pleased to be taking part in the Public Sector Show in Manchester this year and to have the opportunity to discuss some really pertinent workforce issues with attendees.

“It is difficult to remember a time when the public sector faced such significant transformation – it is a shift that is challenging delivery strategy as well as established cultures and traditional capabilities.

“Managing this change and ensuring future performance and productivity is a real challenge for many in the sector, but we believe it can be done effectively with a healthy and resilient workforce.

“So we’re really looking forward to sharing some practical approaches to workplace wellbeing on the day and for Jon to be joining us to share the Greater Manchester perspective.”

Other speakers at the event include the Mayor for Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Andy Burnham as well as other leading public sector figures from across the region.

With the conference agenda including a theme around workforce and skills, IDG will also be exhibiting at the event to share thoughts and advice around creating happy, healthy and sustainable organisations.
